Shia LaBeouf is totally super honest about his process as an actor and, when it comes to it, his failures. I love it:
"You get to monkey-swinging and things like that and you can blame it on the writer and you can blame it on Steven [Spielberg, who directed]. But the actor’s job is to make it come alive and make it work, and I couldn’t do it. So that’s my fault. Simple."
I mean, it's certainly not the only reason I love him. Holes was a fantastic movie, and Disturbia was a nice pulp thriller--not flawless but fun. And he was great in both. I love that Jon Voight is like his mentor or something. And he's totally dating this girl:
Who I also love. I know a lot of people hate him for ruining their childhood or whatever. But he's an actor, guys. These movies would have been made anyway. And maybe, with less Beef, they would have been that much worse.
